Responsibilities- Provide competent nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and surgical technicians to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others, attending education programs and utilizing patient education materials.
- Assess patient outcomes, seek guidance as needed, and participate in discussions with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient care.
- Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures to deliver care, and prioritize tasks for patients with complex problems.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- NC RN licensure.
- ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
- One year of experience working as a licensed RN.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information, and effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other staff.
