Material Expediter

Belmark Inc. is seeking a skilled Material Expediter to join our team at our Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials through departments to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including computer entries and stock size changes.
• Deliver non-stock items to the appropriate person or area.
• Maintain a neat and organized stock press area.
• Communicate with the lead press operator to meet scheduling needs.
• Assist during physical inventory and use material transporting equipment safely.
• Back up the material handler and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of the English language and ability to write legibly.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
• Nearly constant concentration and attention to detail required.

Work Environment:

• Stand and walk for 90% of work time.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 10% of work time.
• Use hands for 100% of work time.
• Reach above shoulder for 25% of work time.
• Lift 10 pounds or less 20% of work time, 25 pounds or less 20% of work time, 50 pounds or less 50% of work time, and 100 pounds or less 10% of work time.
