Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, to enhance growth opportunities.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
