Pryer Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in the Tulsa plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support to Quality department personnel, ensuring that products are procured, designed, manufactured, tested, and shipped in accordance with customer and internal QMS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide primary interface for customer, industry, and internal quality audits
Initiate internal process and compliance audits
Drive level I & II CARs, including reporting of correction action effectiveness with objective evidence
Create quality plans for new products
Monitor QMS process parameters and report to management
Implement and revise procedures and support process improvement teams as CI champion
Initiate surveys for supplier approval, perform remote supplier audits, track performance, and generate SCARs
Responsible for oversight of all non-conforming activities, including NCR, DMR, RMA, and NOE
Oversight of document control, calibration processes of both measuring instruments and equipment, and periodic checks of production tooling

Requirements

Minimum of Associate's degree in manufacturing or quality-related field required
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Direct experience as a Quality Engineer may be considered in lieu of degree requirements
2+ years working experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
2+ years working as an inspector in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of ISO9001 & AS9100, SPC Implementation
Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma background preferred
Knowledgeable in blueprint reading, modeling, GD&T, and DPD/MBD
