Position Overview

Duck River Electric Membership Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze various journal entries and maintain accurate reconciliations.
  • Compile and complete necessary regulatory schedules and forms.
  • Support the department by mentoring and guiding junior staff members.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the RUS Uniform System of Accounts.

Experience with financial software such as Dynamics SL or Real Asset Management is advantageous.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CMA are preferred.

We welcome candidates with six to eight years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. All levels of experience will be considered, and the job grade will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
