Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Conduct ongoing patient education and counseling to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor Patient Care Technicians, LPNs/LVNs, and RNs as a Team Leader or designated Nurse in Charge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate state licensure.
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
  • Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred).
