We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Team Lead to join our team at Vidant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of licensed practical nurses, nurse aides, and ancillary associates.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, provide, and supervise professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Use professional nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care.
- Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of unlicensed care providers.
- Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the environment of care, including equipment and material resources.
- Lead and guide licensed practical nurses, nurse aides, and ancillary associates in the delivery of patient care.
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
This position is primarily Monday-Friday, with the possibility of rotating call bi-weekly with the nurse manager. The successful candidate will be required to work a 40-hour week, with the possibility of covering nights and weekends as needed.
