District Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Aide to join our team at the Florida Legislature. As a key member of our office, you will provide administrative support to our Representative and contribute to the success of our legislative efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional administrative support to our Representative, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, and preparing reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with constituents, stakeholders, and other government officials to advance our legislative goals.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, including managing office supplies, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and submit reports, including monthly and quarterly updates, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manage office expense accounts and travel systems to ensure compliance with legislative policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on legislative policies, procedures, and best practices to provide expert advice and guidance to our Representative.
- An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience.
- Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
