As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine predictive and preventive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment and systems throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment and systems
  • Perform renovations and install new HVAC/R systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC/R equipment and systems
  • Maintain HVAC/R inventory
  • Make repairs, calibrate and functionally test equipment and systems
  • Recommend solutions for necessary corrective action

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Heating preferred
  • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required
  • Related experience required to demonstrate ability to operate and maintain typical HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Systems
  • Two (2) years experience in a hospital or industrial environment with knowledge in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal chillers, energy management systems and associated equipment
  • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range

USD $24.48 - USD $40.78 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

Occasional weekends depending on needs of department
