About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing a full range of school psychological services to children ages 5-21, including assessment and intervention planning, consultation, and systems support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct school-wide and class-wide climate assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide behavioral consultation services to teachers to support student success
  • Participate in outcome initiatives to drive positive change
  • Consult with district and/or school leadership teams to improve school climate and student behaviors
  • Develop and implement training programs using an active training style
  • Participate in the design and implementation of applied research and engage in data-based decision making at the school and individual student levels
Requirements
  • MEd or EdS in School Psychology
  • Active PA Dept of Education Educational Specialist Certification in School Psychology
  • Strong written communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of current research-based professional practices in school psychology and education
  • Experience working in schools
Physical Requirements

Some walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Regular use of computers and office equipment. Infrequent driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes.
