The successful candidate will be responsible for curricular management, group and individual resident teaching, as well as partnering with residents to perform patient assessments and make diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance resident knowledge and skills in behavioral health issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-care techniques.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology.
- Valid North Carolina professional license as a Psychologist.
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
