About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at NEW Health Services. As a community-focused healthcare provider, we are committed to delivering high-quality oral health care to adults and children in rural northeast Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scaling/root planning, cleaning, and polishing of teeth as required.
- Provide sealants, screenings/radiographs, restorative fills, and other necessary treatments as needed.
- Administer local anesthesia and record evaluations of oral condition on dental charts.
- Give oral hygiene instructions, dietary advice, and provide information about necessary dental care.
- Setup and cleanup of own room and instruments.
- Participate in the development and implementation of provider productivity standards.
- Represent NEW Health Services at conferences, meetings, and continuing education programs.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program required.
- Previous experience in a community dental clinic preferred.
- Valid hygienist licensure in Washington State required.
- Ability to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicaid, etc.).

NEW Health Services is a non-profit federally qualified health center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to rural communities. We are a member of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholarships and loan repayment program and have a Primary Care HPSA Score of 17, a Dental HPSA Score of 20, and a Mental Health HPSA Score of 20.
We are committed to developing local career pathway training through our workforce development program, NEW Health University, and are eligible to apply for the Washington State Health Professional Loan Repayment Program.
