Leader of Backend Engineering Division
Are you an experienced professional in the semiconductor sector with a strong commitment to enhancing quality, efficiency, and innovation? Do you possess a successful history of guiding high-performing teams and achieving outstanding outcomes? We are seeking a remarkable leader to oversee our Backend Engineering Division, which includes several managers and a team of 60-80 engineers, ranging from principal to senior staff levels.
About the RoleIn your capacity as the Leader of the Backend Engineering Division, you will be accountable for driving the division's key performance indicators (KPIs), which encompass Safety, Quality, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Cost, and Productivity.
You will also participate in our Backend Site Automation Project.In your new role you will:
Initiate quality and productivity enhancement projects, contributing to improvement initiatives.
Implement the Backend Plant's testing roadmap, meeting TCR and LCTR goals.
Guide a team of managers and engineers to evaluate challenges and promote OEE enhancements.
Foster employee development, oversee career advancement, and provide technical guidance and leadership to the Engineering team.
Manage recruitment, workforce planning, skill enhancement, motivation, organizational growth, salary assessments, and performance evaluations for over 100 Equipment Engineering professionals.
Lead the execution of Advanced Process Control (APC), driving testing process stability and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and enhancing test yield.
Manage technician resources, overtime control, skill development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan and budget for testing costs and OEE enhancement strategies, committing resources and timelines for next-level productivity initiatives.
Support the expansion of other divisions with best practice implementation, transfer activities, and cross-training.
You are best suited for this role if you possess:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
Strong expertise in final test and burn-in engineering, with proficiency in testers, handlers, oven equipment, loadboards, burn-in boards, and contact technology.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and resolution.
