We are seeking a skilled Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Flexup Direct. This exciting opportunity is for a 13-week assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Neurology/PCU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including CVA, brain biopsy, epilepsy/seizure monitoring, and encephalopathy.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including IV insertion, PICC line placement, and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Utilize computerized charting systems to document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
  • NIH and BLS certification.
  • Ability to work 48 hours per week, with a 36-hour guarantee available.
  • Flexibility to float to all Norton Healthcare facilities and units within scope of practice.
