Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts. You will also assist the radiologist during invasive procedures and make clinical judgments about patient conditions based on information from referring physicians, medical records, patient interviews, and personal assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sonographic examinations using high-quality imaging equipment
- Assist radiologists during invasive procedures
- Make clinical judgments about patient conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year experience as an ultrasound technologist or ultrasound intern
