Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a member of the Resource Pool team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical areas and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in nursing (ADN, BSN, or MSN)
  • At least 18 months of experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a positive work environment
