About This Role
">- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department team at Intermountain Health.
Job Summary
">- As a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and create a safe and healthy environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
">- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for staff members.
Qualifications and Compensation
">- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
- Current license to practice in the state of Montana (or ability to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years of hire.
- Leadership experience, preferably as a charge nurse or supervisor.
