About the Role

The Constant Observer is an integral part of our Emergency Department team, responsible for ensuring the comfort, security, and safety of patients. This role requires a high level of vigilance and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this position, you will work closely with the ER Manager and Charge Nurse/Supervisor on duty to provide seamless care and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Monitor patients continuously to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Valid CA Certified Nursing Assistant License
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish a plus
  • AHA BCLS certification required
