Flexible Work Schedule:
This role offers a robust opportunity for consistent additional income with flexible scheduling and predictable work hours. You will conduct exams and reviews based on your availability and the days you commit to work. Importantly, no doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided; your role is strictly advisory.
- You will perform evaluations and reviews on your selected schedule.
Expertise Development:
As a physician reviewer, you will gain expanded credentials in Independent Medical Exams and advisory services within the Federal sector. Our streamlined case flow and user-friendly work portal facilitate your work process. This opportunity allows for blocked time commitments, whether for full days, half-days, or 2-hour sessions, depending on the complexity of the exams.
On full days, you may be scheduled for 8-16 evaluations. Given the current demand, there is a significant backlog of exams, allowing for multiple scheduling opportunities per week or month based on your availability.
Requirements:
Active state licensure is mandatory. If you have not completed VA training, our team will assist you in this process once you become part of our reviewer panel. The required documentation and reporting are straightforward and conducted through a user-friendly, web-based portal. Comprehensive orientation and training will be provided, and all scheduling will be managed for you.
Work Environment:
While clinic exam space may be available in some instances, you will primarily conduct in-person evaluations at your designated clinic location. Our physician panel consists of independent contract reviewers compensated on a flat rate per day basis.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Physician Reviewer/Advisor for Federal exams, your responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing medical records and conducting physical examinations (8-16 per day).
2. Utilizing your clinical expertise to address questions and concerns regarding patient diagnoses, care plans, and disability extent.
3. Inputting responses into the portal as required.
All referral processes, scheduling, case preparation, and medical record organization will be handled for you, ensuring that you can focus on your evaluations.
