JOB SUMMARY
Contribute to the Sysco warehouse operations and play a vital role in the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors are responsible for picking orders for delivery to local foodservice establishments.

  • Engage in an active, physical role that includes operating electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
  • Organize and palletize products to fulfill customer orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Maintain a safe working environment, navigating areas with varying temperature and humidity levels based on local weather conditions and the type of products being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
  • Frequently lift products weighing between 10lbs to 75lbs, and occasionally up to 100lbs.
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
  • Constantly bend and twist while operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
  • Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
  • Stand for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

  • 1 year experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically demanding job experience.
  • 1 year of selection experience.
  • 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
