Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in York, Pennsylvania. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
