Aerial Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Foreman to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As an Aerial Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a crew of aerial linemen and ensuring the successful completion of aerial cable installation projects.

• Leadership and Communication: Provide direction and guidance to crew members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
• Aerial Lineman Duties: Perform duties of an aerial lineman, including climbing telephone poles and working in bucket trucks.
• Project Management: Implement and execute steps to complete projects on time, setting daily production goals and conducting daily walk-throughs to ensure progress.
• Safety and Compliance: Monitor and adhere to all safety processes and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for crew members.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain and submit required reporting, including DOT documentation.
• Training and Development: Conduct weekly tool box talks and provide training to crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Experience and Qualifications: Appropriate aerial training and previous experience in a similar position, with a focus on crew leadership.
• Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques, ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck, and ability to perform all duties in telecommunications construction.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed, with or without assistance.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give descriptive and respectful direction.
• Education and Certifications: Basic computer skills required, experience with Google apps a plus, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
