Helicopter Mechanic

**Job Title: Helicopter Mechanic**

At Aerotek, we are seeking a skilled Helicopter Mechanic to join our team in Milton, Florida. As a key member of our 145 repair station, you will be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframes and engines.

**About the Role:**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months. You will work in a fully on-site position in Milton, Florida, in the back of a hangar in the warehouse, which is non-climate controlled.

**Key Responsibilities:

* Perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframes and engines* Clean up work area at the end of shift* Work in the SAP computer system regarding sign-offs and logging time on jobs* Move and position aircraft in the hangar and on the flight line* Work overtime and travel as needed* Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities associated with supporting the daily operations/activities of the 145 repair station

**Requirements:

* FAA A&P Certificate* Helicopter experience is desired* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation and must be able to use/interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications* Teamwork, communications, problem-solving, decision-making, works well under pressure, able to multitask, detail-oriented, adaptable

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
