Job Title: Travel Radiology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Travel Radiology Technician to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to make limited routine radiographs of designated body regions as ordered by the physician.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess independent decision-making skills, a solid understanding of patient safety and precautions, and excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families. AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for the procedure and position them for the best possible outcome.
  • Utilize principles of ALARA and Proper Radiation Safety Techniques.
  • Keep records of X-RAY Film, Unit Activities, and Related Records.
  • Assist in the care and maintenance of x-ray equipment.
  • Demonstrate proper performance of skills reflected and validated by the Radiology Tech competency checklist.
  • Provide timely and adequate documentation to ensure reimbursement for services provided.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Radiology.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in Radiology.
