About the Role

At HDR, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Water Business Group team in North Carolina. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting projects through planning, design, and construction phases. Your technical expertise will be essential in planning studies, field alignment studies, and coordinating with sub-consultants and utility owners. You will also be responsible for preparing preliminary and final design, drawing preparation coordination, developing technical specifications, and performing office and field services during construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support projects through planning, design, and construction phases
  • Plan and coordinate with sub-consultants and utility owners
  • Prepare preliminary and final design, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Perform office and field services during construction

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a project team
