Position: Civil Construction Supervisor

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee projects and manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and directives for the area of oversight.
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of Concrete Masons, helpers, and apprentices.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety standards rigorously.
  • Plan and adjust work sequences to align with project timelines, utilizing knowledge of equipment capabilities and workforce skills.
  • Supervise subgrade operations, concrete mixing, and form setting.
  • Assess schedules and estimate labor requirements for project completion.
  • Identify and resolve work-related challenges efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records.
  • Adhere to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Calculate concrete quantities needed for various tasks.
  • Recognize and address hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate appropriate experience in the field.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and reliability.
  • Be prepared for significant travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Complete all required safety and job training as mandated by the company.
  • Consistently observe safety and quality protocols set by the organization and clients.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
  • Ability to utilize all necessary personal protective equipment and lift weights up to fifty pounds.
  • Work conditions may include office settings, construction sites, and areas with exposure to various environmental factors.
  • Must be capable of accessing all areas of the job site, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina is essential to perform the core functions of this role safely.
  • Must be adept at operating all relevant equipment and tools.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and work in challenging positions.
