Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Golub Corporation. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription preparation, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of medications and supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Retrieve and store medications and related products according to pharmacy policy and state regulations.
  • Reconcile third-party insurance billing issues and ensure proper reimbursement and patient charges.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good mathematical skills and ability to calculate days supply.
  • Knowledge of prescription sig codes and abbreviations.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of prescription dispensing computer systems.
  • Exercises good judgment and accepts responsibility for completion of activities.
