We are seeking a passionate Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist to contribute to our objectives. Unleash your potential.Job Summary and Qualifications
The Licensed Respiratory Care Specialist (LRT) operates in both inpatient and outpatient environments, delivering a broad spectrum of treatment, care, and assessment for patients experiencing respiratory challenges.
You will employ various types of oxygen and therapeutic gas apparatus, including masks, tents, and incubators. The patient demographic spans from neonates to the elderly. You will provide education to patients regarding treatments, support networks, and other available resources.
Your responsibilities will include delivering and evaluating responses to prescribed therapies according to the care plan, encompassing both routine and intensive treatments as well as diagnostic procedures.
You will monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and their responses to treatment.
You will carry out various tasks related to the setup, operation, sanitation, and storage of respiratory therapy equipment.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State certification as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or completion of a Vocational Program.
