Avionics Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hire Aviation Staffing Solutions LLC. As an Avionics Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial aircraft.
Job Description:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in avionics work, with corporate jet or commercial aircraft experience being highly preferred. A certificate from an Avionics or Electrical Technical School, or equivalent military/vendor training, is also desired.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying, and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment. This includes performing and documenting all work per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing components detached from the aircraft, such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges. Additionally, you will assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations, and may assist with maintenance at off-site locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum of 1-year avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience; corporate jet aircraft/commercial aircraft experience is preferred
- Have a certificate from Avionics/Electrical A/C Technical School or equivalent military/vendor training is preferred
- Able to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status
- Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
- Ground Support Equipment Qualifications and/or Engine Run Qualification may be required
- &P license OR A license is preferred
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate is preferred
- Comfortable with shift work (12 hours shifts, overnights, weekends, holidays), including nonscheduled overtime
