Wine Ambassador

Hawks View Winery, located in Sherwood, is just 17 miles from downtown Portland and serves as the gateway to Willamette Valley wine country. As an estate-grown winery with a 45-acre property, we cater to our local community and offer tasting rooms with extended hours and breathtaking views.

The estimated salary for this position is $14.70 + Tips + Commission, making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about wine and customer service.

About the Job:

• Serve wine and food pairings to guests and club members, providing excellent hospitality and education on wine tastings and purchases.
• Focus on delivering exceptional customer service while showcasing our wines and promoting sales.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented environment to ensure consistency and uphold Hawks View's values, vision, and service standards.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years old and have at least one year of experience in wine, restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Possess a positive attitude, good conversational skills, and enjoy working with guests.

• This is a full-time position that requires availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds regularly.
• A Food Handlers Card and OLCC permit are required.
