Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic studies on patients with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly identify patients and exams
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic studies on patients with maximum care and technical quality
  • Maintain sterile technique while imaging patients according to established O.R. policies and procedures
  • Accurately complete order entry documentation in a timely manner
  • Responsible for care, cleanliness, and maintenance of all x-ray equipment used in the O.R.
  • Function as part of the O.R. team, responding promptly to all calls or pages for cases
  • Maintain working knowledge of OR instrumentation and procedure, anticipating surgeons' x-ray needs
  • Ongoing communication with OR staff to minimize schedule conflicts and delays
  • Develops rapport with staff and physicians to instill confidence
  • Annual peer review of images meets department standards
  • Demonstrates competency in the knowledge of the RIS/HIS/PACS/CR modules appropriate to their job responsibilities
Requirements
  • Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered, or ARRT registry eligible
  • Must pass registry within 1 year of hire date
  • Experience as a radiologic technologist preferred, and ongoing training in department procedures
  • Current CPR certification required
  • History of computer usage experience required
