WORK SCHEDULE
Monday 9-3, Tuesday/Wednesday 10-4, Thursday/Friday 11:30-5:30
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver professional nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment for patients, with a focus on integrating Behavioral Health Services within a supportive housing framework.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Conduct and document comprehensive physical and psychosocial evaluations.
- Evaluate patients' ongoing needs and assist medical personnel in delivering direct care.
- Develop, implement, and assess a care plan tailored to the patient's requirements, ensuring accurate medical chart documentation.
- Provide psycho-education based on the assessed needs of patients.
- Administer injections as prescribed.
- Offer guidance and support using therapeutic communication techniques.
- Establish and maintain professional and therapeutic boundaries.
- Incorporate knowledge, experience, professional standards, and organizational policies into nursing practice.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (LPN)
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current licensure in Idaho.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check by the Department of Health and Welfare.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Understanding and adherence to the ethical standards of the respective licensure board.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Idaho.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Both)
- Two or more years of experience in the fields of alcoholism, substance use disorders, and mental health.
- Proficiency in computer and email systems, as well as Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Familiarity with community resources and Patient Assistance/Medication Assistance Programs.
- Knowledge of the Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.
