Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the alternative care unit at The University of Vermont Medical Center. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients awaiting placement
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with LPNs and LNAs to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
  • Long-term care experience an asset

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary ranging from $63,000 to $83,000 per year based on experience
  • A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • A generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 (pro-rated for part-time roles)

Schedule and On-Call Requirements:

  • Work Sunday 7AM - 7:30PM and Monday 7AM-7:30PM
  • No on-call requirements
