Western Governors University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a remote/onsite environment, providing specialized instruction on challenging experiential/clinical course work.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in a remote/onsite environment
- Provide specialized instruction on challenging experiential/clinical course work
- Work with students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Ensure students are successful within their clinical placement setting
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Two years minimum Nursing experience
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in job-relevant content or practice area
- Doctorate, or terminal degree in a specific content area
- Strong experience with distance education and distance learning students
