Comprehensive Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in our Walla Walla outpatient facility. As a Nurse - Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing integrated, evidence-based treatment to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor clients' symptoms and response to medication
- Counsel clients and their families about medications and treatment
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor for adverse conditions prior to administering any medication
- Participate in collaborative treatment planning for each client, and offer expertise regarding nursing and medical concerns when needed
- Assess clients for safety and risk to self or others, and take appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Active RN license in Washington State
- Prior experience in mental health strongly preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
