The Registered Nurse is a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans that address their unique needs and goals.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications, monitor lab results, and adjust medications as needed under the supervision of a provider.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including medical records and incident reports.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families on various physical and behavioral health conditions, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to manage their care.
- Education: Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: One or more years of nursing experience in a clinical area of service, preferably in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid current RN license from the state or from a compact state, where applicable. Certified in Psychiatric Nursing preferred.
