Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing maintenance activities for our Siemens Charger locomotives.

About the Role

You will work closely with customers, training their maintenance personnel, and advising on best practices to ensure the reliability and availability of our systems. Your primary goal will be to establish a safe working environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice to customers' maintenance workforce to improve equipment reliability.
  • Ensure responsiveness and support to troubleshooting and repairs assigned to service requests.
  • Deliver ongoing system operation training to customers.
  • Identify non-conformance issues and improvement recommendations.
Requirements

To thrive in this role, you must have an Associate's degree in electrical technology or a related field, or at least 2+ years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. You should also possess excellent English language technical communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
