Compensation

We offer highly competitive pay rates, ranging from $55.00 to $75.00 per hour, ensuring you earn fair compensation for your expertise.

About the Role

As a dental hygienist with Toothio, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through thorough initial screenings, meticulous cleaning, and personalized oral health guidance. You will work closely with dentists to identify treatment plans for various dental conditions, including gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure patients feel at ease before examinations by providing a comfortable environment
  • Maintain proper sterilization of dental instruments
  • Conduct comprehensive mouth screenings and review oral health histories
  • Identify potential oral health issues and develop effective prevention strategies
  • Clean and protect patients' teeth, removing plaque and applying fluoride as needed
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing techniques
  • Provide post-operative instructions and support
  • Take X-rays and dental impressions as required
  • Collaborate with dentists to determine optimal treatments for various conditions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient charts
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient supply management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a dental hygienist or similar role
  • Dental Hygiene license is mandatory
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, such as HIPAA
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • A patient and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet physical demands of the job
  • Diploma in Dental Hygiene (preferably)
