About the Role:
Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in Outpatient Imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
- Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiological Technologist, or advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R), or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (CT) if less than one year as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- BLS certified.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months of experience as a CT Technologist.
