Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality images for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images and ensure proper patient care.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
  • Report any abnormalities or concerns to medical staff and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Conduct scan tests, write reports, and maintain sonography equipment.
  • Understand and utilize the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • BLS certification and state-specific licensing when required.
  • RDMS National certification.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional Requirements
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
