Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain referral networks with real estate professionals and build relationships with mortgage lenders and bankers, ensuring familiarity with current lending rate sheets and industry trends.
  • Gather necessary documentation to assess creditworthiness, including background checks, credit history, income verification, and asset and liability assessments.
  • Identify the most suitable mortgage products and lenders for potential clients by researching competitive mortgage rates and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Work collaboratively with real estate agents, underwriting departments, and other mortgage professionals to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Assess each applicant's or borrower's unique lending or refinancing requirements through comprehensive interviews.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and analytical skills, with a strong degree of independence.
  • A valid NMLS license or certification from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of loan products and the loan process from origination to closing.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office and loan origination software is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, banking, finance, or real estate law is advantageous.
