We are currently looking for a Machined Parts Inspector to enhance our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough visual inspections and precise measurements using advanced instruments and gauges to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications and quality standards for machined components, excluding gears and similar parts.

- Execute complex layouts and setups on surface plates, verifying measurements within tight tolerances. The components inspected may include various grades of steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and more, encompassing items such as bolts, die castings, and forgings.

- Establish appropriate inspection protocols, develop methods for assessing new types of machined components, and provide actionable recommendations for procedural enhancements.

- Supervise and mentor junior Machined Parts Inspectors, guiding them in best practices and verifying the accuracy and completeness of their work.

- Participate in all phases of machined parts inspection, including the acceptance of vendor-supplied components, ensuring they meet specifications through layout or other inspection methodologies.

Tools & Equipment Utilized:

- Hand and marking tools, machinist's tools, precision measuring instruments, specialized testing devices, and material testing equipment.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of thirty-six months of experience in Machine Shop operations or Inspection, preferably within the aerospace sector.
