KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the accurate distribution, retrieval, upkeep, cleanliness, and security of horse head numbers and saddle cloths for each race.
  • Obtain and maintain the necessary licensing from the Maine Harness Racing Commission.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum age of 18 years. High School diploma or equivalent preferred; six months of relevant experience or training is advantageous.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Ability to read and write in English, with strong verbal communication skills.
  • Fundamental math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Capability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must possess a valid license from the Maine Harness Racing Commission.
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., along with the ability to perform various physical tasks in diverse work environments.
