Job Summary

Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Shuttle Driver CDL A to transport products between Market Centers and remote/depot locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL-A license, a minimum of 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport products between Market Centers and remote/depot locations on time and according to route delivery and facility processing schedules.
  • Confirm route scheduled and details with Market Center Production Manager.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle/truck, schedule regular maintenance for tractor/trailer, and maintain proper operator documentation, driver duty status logs, daily vehicle inspections reports, and schedules.
  • Manage daily route to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
  • Load/unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others in the Market Center and across the road transportation.
Working Environment/Safety Requirements

The Shuttle Driver CDL A will be exposed to adverse and varying weather conditions, fast-paced environment, and physical demands including lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling carts and pallets. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a safe and expedient manner, balance work, and accurately transport merchandise.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
  • 3 years previous truck driving experience in a similar vehicle to what is required on the job, or equivalent experience.
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
