Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Associate Infant Educator to join our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH. As an Associate Infant Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young members, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our members.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with members, families, and staff, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality programs, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, incorporating new ideas and strategies into our programs.
Requirements
  • Associate teacher qualification or equivalent experience in early childhood education.
  • Minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or 1000 hours of supervised child care experience.
  • Knowledge of child growth and development, including principles and techniques of teaching.
  • Ability to plan and implement quality programs, with a proven track record of creative and artistic teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience working with children in a group setting, with a focus on early childhood education.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and application, with the ability to create engaging and interactive programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication.
