Job Summary

Nexeo Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join a leading hospital in the Murray area. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to the diagnostic capabilities of the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, employing ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to ensure accurate and precise imaging.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, verifying proper patient identification and order information, while maintaining patient comfort and providing necessary education as required.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and exhibit competence in anatomical positioning techniques, delivering images of exceptional quality per department protocols.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols, infection control, and sterile techniques to promote a safe and secure healthcare environment for both patients and staff.
  • Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast materials to patients as ordered by the physician, with proper supervision, and understanding of protocols related to contrast administration.
Qualifications
  • Must hold the designation of RRT registered technologist, showcasing the required expertise and training in CT procedures.
  • Possess a current Utah State licensure as a CT Tech, meeting the state's regulatory requirements for practicing in this role.
  • Certification in basic life support (BLS) for healthcare providers, demonstrating preparedness for emergency situations and patient care.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in CT scanning, showcasing a solid foundation of skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity to handle delicate equipment and ensure precise patient positioning during examinations.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods, as this position involves regular patient interaction and procedural responsibilities.
