Position Overview

The Radiologic Intervention Specialist is accountable for executing radiologic procedures. This role encompasses a variety of technical tasks that necessitate independent judgment, initiative, and creativity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. External interactions include patients, family members, and healthcare providers. Internal interactions involve nursing staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Graduation or eligibility for graduation with an Associate's degree from an accredited Imaging program or equivalent
  • Certification with the State Department of Health
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. If registration is pending, it must be completed within six months from the date of hire into this role
  • Prior experience as a Radiology Technician is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. As mandated by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $61.71 USD. However, compensation is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, experience level, and certifications or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
