Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

At Residential Services, Inc. (RSI), we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in a group home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Monitor and address medical or behavioral needs, following established guidelines.
  • Create a positive and empowering environment by encouraging residents to engage in social, recreational, and skill-building activities.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of observations, incidents, and actions.
  • Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and families to provide well-rounded care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living space by performing light housekeeping and conducting regular safety inspections.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD or in a caregiving role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and patient in challenging situations.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare practices, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Dependability and the ability to work independently are essential.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday: 7 AM - 3 PM
  • Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday: 2:30 PM - 9 PM (with 8 AM - 8 PM on weekends)
  • Overnight shifts: 11 PM - 9 AM
  • Part-time positions available with flexible scheduling, including weekends and weekdays.
