Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Renewal Rehab in Wilmington, MA.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and ensuring MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • A.S. degree from an accredited college recognized by the APTA
  • Current license and/or registration as a PTA in-state (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under PT supervision
  • Identify and refer patients to rehab accordingly
  • Document patient progress on weekly notes and obtain co-signature from PT
  • Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges
  • Complete required documentation according to state guidelines
