Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team as a Van Upfit Specialist. This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of van equipment and accessories, utilizing your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing van equipment, including shelving, ladder racks, partitions, drawer units, storage systems, receiver hitches, running boards, and various accessories. You will work closely with the upfit/installation team to meet job deadlines and ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install van equipment according to written and verbal directions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the upfit/installation team to meet job deadlines and achieve quality goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as wiring or construction.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow written and verbal directions.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position in Puyallup, Washington. You will work in a small, clean manufacturing plant with a single entrance where vehicles are brought in one at a time for work. The work hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM.
